XRPL NFT Market Overview
The XRP Ledger uses the native XLS-20 standard for NFTs. Over 1.4 million NFTs have been minted on XRPL. Unlike Ethereum NFTs which require smart contract deployment, XRPL NFTs are protocol-level objects with enforced royalties and atomic swaps.
NFT trading on XRPL costs only the network fee (~0.006 XRP per transaction). There are no gas auctions, no failed transactions draining fees, and no smart contract risk. Royalties are enforced at the protocol level, meaning creators receive their share on every secondary sale automatically.
